the interior scale looks wrong. The crew seems like 100-120cm tall kids. Type2A's pressure hull is ~4m in diameter. Also compare the crew size with the flak gun

I remember playing a demo of this years ago at EGX in London several years ago whilst doing a BTEC in Computer Science. Spoke to the devs and they were really chill. Glad to see it's finally getting released.

PSA: you can press C and V to recentre the view horizontally on your current heading and vertically on the horizon, respectively, when in the binos/UZO/scope view. Way faster than manually panning back.

This mod needs a difficulty fix. It doesn't feel like you're fighting the IJN so much as the developers.

Merchants in this game are just busted, they take ages to sink. Reason why I stopped playing.

Watched a lot of these now, and I am still amused that the call is "Torpedo in the water! Torpedo in the water!!!"... ...when there are clearly half a dozen of them milling about - some of them yours - and, yea, what else but water would they be in? Sure, I know what it means, but it seems rather comical in this environment where clear and efficient communications are so critical.

Hm, looks pretty good the TDC... but i maybe noticed some Translation Errors... "Reichentfernung" makes no Sense, also "Legenwinkel". Guess those should mean "Richtentfernung" and "Lagenwinkel" - that would make sense. Also "Shuß" should be "Schuss" or "Schuß" But i guess this have been already forwarded to the Devs...

This game is in desperate need of a good damage model. Nothing more immersion breaking than when you slam a torpedo into the side of a hull without a scratch to be seen! Especially with the emphasis on the cinematic quality of the game.

Looks pretty good. Yes, I get that it's not realistic (I'm sure fighter pilots IRL would love frequent pauses to think), but that's okay for the type of game it is. I'm not sure that you should be informed the second you've killed a pilot though. It should let you work that out for yourself. Maybe that's going to be a setting or part of the difficulty curve...

@Wolfpack345 Using the electric engine interchangeably with the diesel engine is crucial for the Type IIA (I do diesel engine on slow speed and electric engine on half speed)

I love this game a lot, but I keep fumbling the ball when it comes to making torpedo attacks in the type II every goddamn time my torps go either run just ahead or just astern of the target im so so close yet so so far. I hope Wolfpack makes a TDC tutorial soon because it would be nice to figure out where im going wrong.

This mods balance is just absolutely fucked, to the point it's a) making me not want to play it and b) it's kinda making it unfun to watch. I've always wanted a RN focused mod for this game and this setting sounds awesome, RN with its back up against the wall trying to stem the tide of the IJN is a great setting. however wtf is the balance in this mod? An armed Merchanman should be literally zero threat to an actual warship 1 on 1 yet in this mod they fuck up Wolfs ships. Merhcantmen somehow just casually absorb repeated torpedo and bombs strikes and just keep chugging along even though there is absolutely zero chance they would have anything close to the internal integrity required to handle that kind of mass flooding and damage. It's just not possible for a ship who's internal volume is mostly made up of open cargo holds to effectively control that kind of flooding. Also IJN guns are literal rail guns for some reason, they get on target disgustingly fast regardless of the range and immediately start scoring critical damage even against ships that are larger than them. For some reason RN damage control, which historically was actually quite good is significantly worse than IJN Merchant Marine crews damage control? How does that even work? What's the point if every surface engagement against smaller warships or even auxiliary warships is going to cost you a light cruiser to some bullshit magazine explosion on the first hit you take from a 100mm gun? What's the point in air strikes against Merchants when they can just casually absorb all the ordinance your strike package has and keep going?

Sorry to see, how this games AI performs. And how devs decide to cripple players chances by giving unfair advantages to opposite side. Like another comments, mine is no different: looks like AI is cheating all the way and it’s unpleasant to watch.

Well, if you try to turn a natural arcade style battle into a turn-based game it is bound to be very boring, like this one.

You say you can't sink a ship with the AA guns, but I've done in the past in U-Boat. It just takes a lot of reloads to do it.

23:22 ...i like the game AI here...they arrived in the port ...however the majority of the crew displays low morale and blunt disregard towards the national socialist fighting spirit ,snoring away in their bunks ...😂😂😂..probably because of their recent culinary experiences with the soup prepared by the cook from old dirty socks and served as last meal before port after 20 or so day's on the sea....😂😂😂
